America’s number one home insurance price comparison company HomeInsurance.com have shelled out $570,000 on a new domain name, HomeOwnerInsurance.com which they believe will enable them to double the number of consumers they currently attract each month. Currently, HomeInsurance.com deals with 50,000 customers each month, but with the introduction of the new domain name, the firm believes they are capable of doubling this number to 100,000. The home insurance facility has begun to dominate the market in the US with the launch of their highly successful main website, and also a number of state specific websites such as CaliforniaHomeInsurance.com. As well as the company’s online arm of the business, they also employ around 100 agents at their head quarters to deal with phone call enquiries for those customers who are not comfortable using online facilities to buy home insurance. With two of the highest ranking domain names in the home insurance industry under their belt which regularly appear in the organic results list for all major search engines, and the ability to offer insurance quotes from several industry leaders, HomeInsurance.com looks set to become an even bigger force within the US property insurance market.
